AQUAMATION OR ALKALINE HYDROLYSIS IS AN IRREVERSIBLE AND FINAL PROCESS

Aquamation (Hydrolysis) is identified as a combination of gentle water flow, temperature, and alkalinity that are used to accelerate the breakdown of organic materials. What can take 3 months to 5 years in nature, Hydrolysis takes 20 hours to complete. Hydrolysis does not have smokestacks, there is never smoke discharged into the atmosphere. At the end of the Aquamation process the only remains left are the bone. The mineral remains of the bone are then dried and processed into a powder for return to the family.

All euthanasia chemicals are neutralized and broken down completely in this process and all pathogens are destroyed making the powder completely pathogen and disease free, completely sterile and 100% safe to handle.

*Please Note: All individual aquamations must be picked up within 30 days after the aquamation process is completed. After 30 days have passed, we will assume you are not interested in picking up your pet cremains and will scatter the cremains for you at no charge. We cannot hold the cremains for more than 30 days. Unless arranged otherwise, shipping UPS or hand delivery by courier back home is a separate charge to be paid when pet is ready to return home. Picking up at our facility is free of charge. PLEASE NOTE written above in red, pickup at our facility must be completed within 30 days after the Aquamation process is completed.
